Journals are Here!

3 spiral bound journals laying fanned out on a table with dried rose petals around them. Each journal has an artwork by Portland artist Lea K. Tawd printed on it. The 1st artwork, on the journal on the left, features a woman's face with eyes closed. She has black wavy hair that flows up abover her head and red roses growing from the top of her head. Above the roses is a string wrapped above the roses and the word "boundaries" written in script. There is a gold circle behind her head and a light purple and blue background. The 2nd (middle) image is on a yellow background. A portrait of a woman with eyes open and black hair flowing over her shoulders. In her hair are a series of gold crescent moons. Above her head is a sillhouette of a hand and the word "heal" written in script with a love heart after the word. The 3rd image is another worman with black hair wearing a brick red sweater that is open and showing part of her breasts. There is an assortement of objects on her shoulders including a crow, bones, and crystals. The word "magic" is written in script abover her head and there is a purple background.
If you are anything like me, you love journals.  I especially love to collect ones that are made by my favorite artists.  They are a really affordable way to support their art, and I get to look at it every time I feel inspired to write something down or sketch something out.
I usually have several journals going at the same time.  I keep a studio journal in my art studio to write about my current projects, work through any doubts or problems I'm having with a piece, take notes on inspiration and ideas, and anything else studio-related.  I have one that I use to write down what I'm grateful for every night before bed.  I have sketchbooks (do those count as journals??), a journal that my daughter and I share to write down difficult things to talk about, and even a journal for actual journaling. Ha!
Over the past several years I've released 5 different designs, and now I have 3 more for you!  For the new ones, I decided to use some of my "word of the year" artwork to give you a little boost of inspiration and intention.
The pages have dot grids on them--the perfect hybrid between lined and unlined (in my opinion).  You can write in them, sketch, practice hand-lettering or calligraphy, make collages, or even do some light mixed media pieces.
I hope you love them as much as I do.  I made them just for you. <3
